On a business trip to Tajikistan, the Anariss trading team visited several ginning mills and bale warehouses and reviewed production capacity, baling practice and storage conditions first-hand. The aim was to build a direct link with the production chain and remove unnecessary intermediaries.
Sampling and HVI analysis
Selected lots were sampled and sent to the laboratory for HVI testing. Fibre length, uniformity, micronaire, strength, trash and moisture are recorded for each lot and form the basis of the contract's technical specification.
Supply to spinning mills
With this chain in place, Anariss can supply Tajik cotton with a transparent quality report, matched to the technical needs of each spinning line. Photos from the visit are in the gallery below.
